I’ve got an 11mb pdf and attachment fails moment in time and moment in time again in Hotmail/Outlook/Live webmail. Updated Silverlight, still a problem. None of your solutions product. Same in Chrome and Firefox. Same problem a moment in time ago. I’m missing product right now, this is an
important document that needs to be sent from my familiar hotmail account. I will look like a goddamn amateur if if have to send off this with a new email account. Losing my mind here. Please fix this.
Please don’t give me the generic troubleshooting BS.
EDIT: reduced file amount to 8mb and still the same problem. I am not going to attach this with onedrive. This needs to be as easy accessible as possible. Fanciful, you product for days on a project and then the email tune is the only detail that stands
in the way of completing it.
EDIT II: Tried on Mac, same problem. Even tried uploading through cellphone hotspot same problem. Missed hours of product for this and the document had to be sent from a different email looking like unidentified dispatcher probably. I’m done with the Microsoft amateurism
and Google’s privacy invasion. Switched to Protonmail and that sent fine. Bye.

Outlook band are you ever going to fix the major issues on the Outlook.com web client?
As of December 1, 2016 after 9 or so months of release there are still major bugs in the Outlook.com web client and multiple forumn posts on all of these issues so I’m not alone in it not running.
There are many users on your forums having the same problems that never existed before with the old translation prior to you switching to the new build this last spring. Major things like:
1.) Rules are not running even when all old rules are deleted and a song one is created new from the Move command it won’t even come off. These are down-to-earth rules like moving an email based on the sender’s email address.
2.) Inline images are not displaying in many emails. I can see them in Yahoo Mail, the Windows 10 Mail App, and the Outlook iPhone app but not in the Outlook.com web
client app. And it doesn’t matter which browser or operating practice.
3.) Most attachments cannot be displayed or downloaded and only saved to the OneDrive. Even basic ones like images and PDF files don’t come off. Again the Windows 10 Mail app can download them but not the Outlook.com web
client. Forwarding it to Yahoo Mail or even looking at the original email on the GoDaddy Web Workspace email installation fine so again it is only Outlook.com web client that cannot do it.
These are major flaws in basic email functionality and I can assure you that everyone having these problems can forward the exact same emails to any other web based email practice like Yahoo and Google and they will come off perfectly fine on those systems.
Please don’t put forward clearing cache or anything like that. I’ve done all of the difficult that Microsoft should have. I have even tested it on implicit machines where Internet Explorer has never been ran
as well as Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge, and Fireforx and it’s always the same that Outlook.com cannot display and download them.
If someone from Microsoft can please put me in feel with someone high up in the Outlook.com band I’m a programmer myself and can tread them through everything. The other Windows 10 Mail App and iPhone
Outlook App tie in so well but I run through 90% of my calculate developing on the desktop so need the Outlook.com to come off as well as the old Hotmail/Live/Outlook did for a decade.

I just recently purchased my Samsung Galaxy S6 and I am having troubles opening e-mail attachments through my default e-mail app. If my mate adds her g-mail account, the attachments open fine. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing my e-mail.
I can open the attachments on Outlook App but I prefer to use the supply e-mail app that comes with the phone as the outlook app doesn’t give me notification of new e-mails even though I have crooked on all my notifications. Also, I added my e-mail through
the Microsoft exchange and unless the exchange attendant is outlook.live.com it won’t connect to servers. Something is definitely injustice here and I’m hoping someone can help fix the issue. I have a friend with a Hotmail account and the same phone and he can open

I recently inherited a lumia 620 from my daughter.
I get a lot of business email attachments with extensions .prn, .out, .ack etc.
I have been use a bb for ages now and on the bb, i can download & save the attachment to the sd card, rename extension to .txt or .doc or .docx, and it opens.
On the Lumia, I am not capable to access the folder which contains these download files (folder downloads & folder others), so I cant rename them to recognizable extensions.
Can you hint a way out?
I’m having a problem with Microsoft Edge and E-Mail attachments in both AOL and GMAIL. Edge adds a “.txt” to the attached file name and saves it as a transcript file. The file looks like a description of the attachment rather than the document itself. I’ll

Internet Explorer machinery fine with the same emails. This just happens with Edge.
Any help would be appreciated
I’ve been having various problems with Edge and win10 since I first upgraded.

My email client is Outlook Mail. Since the last renovate, when I receive an email with a photo attached (.JPG) and try to open it I get a message, “We couldn’t open the image file.” It won’t open PDF files either. I am using Windows 10 and Internet Explorer.
in outlook, when I receive attachments and try to open them, I get an error. The attachment seems to be defaulting to Adobe reader when it is in fact a dress up document. When this same email and attachment are sent to me by a co-hand, I can open them just
fine. Is this an issue with my outlook settings? Let me re-iterate – the email I cannot open is also sent by the dispatcher to my co-hand. She can open the attachments but when the exact same email is sent to me by the same dispatcher, I cannot open the attachments.

When Outlook.com pushed their latest ‘upgrade’ a ton of issues have appeared for me with dealing with attachments. I have chatted with several reps and they do all the same answers about clearing cookies, browsers, stand-in data, etc… and none of it remotely
This problem is across every platform and browser I have tried.
I am on Win 10, Android 6.x, IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox… ALL impacted the same way.
When I try to ‘View Attachment’ the new screen opens and the spinner just keep s circling OR I get an error of ‘something is preventing this pdf from being displayed.
When I try to download ANY attachment, I get a 404 file not found error. The ONLY fad that working is ‘save to onedrive.’ Saving to Onedrive is not always or ever really practical when you deal with 20+ emails a day with attachments. That email attachment
folder gets cluttered and hard to navigate in a hurry.
Before the pushed the new Outlook.com everything worked fine. The new UI comes live and all of a sudden all these problems. What is mor eirksome is that it is the SAME on EVERY browser and Platform I have tried.
PLEASE FIX THE Microsoft. I have always been a fan of MS products and this has me seriously considering changing email hosts completely and buy my surfacebook.

Since automatically updating 2-3 weeks ago I now have major issues with OWA.
I cannot open or download attachments in emails- it just hangs or says the action failed.
The rules don’t labour either – trying to move email to other folders.

It is the latest side on each, I cannot find a security background that may be impacting this.

We use Outlook.com/OneDrive in part to reference and print mechanical drawings while away from our admin office. We previously used Skydrive with Win 7, and everything worked perfectly. We then converted to Win 10 and OneDrive. Since converting to Win
10, we cannot open email attachments from anything Win 10-based. This applies to 2 new Lenovo ThinkCentre’s in the office and one older Dell XPS in an off-place office.
All three PC’s are maintained regularly, are set to auto-revise and have the latest MS ceremony updates. All three PC’s have updated Edge, IE 11.321….., Chrome and Firefox (cache’s have all be repeatedly cleared, this seemed to be a popular suggested fix
when effective with a local copy of Outlook) and none of the browsers will open any attachments. Oddly enough, our iPhone 6’s will open and print the attachments perfectly well from either logging in on Safari, Chrome or Firefox as well as from using the Outlook
We will occasionally, but not consistently, get error 404, which is a maitre d’hotel section error code. We have found a workaround; choosing the “Download to Personal OneDrive Account” copies the attachment(s) in question to the One Drive Email Attachments directory,
from which we can open and print the attachments with no problems. While the extra steps involved in making it creation are not egregious, we would prefer have the program/app creation as it seems to have been designed to do.
Any direction or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, for some reason I can’t figure out why I can’t print attachments from my emails without first saving them. This has happened since the hotmail changed to the new outlook. Never had a problem before.
Min using Windows 10 and when I click open up the email with the attachment in, I ask to look at it, I’m them greeted by another opportunity performance the contents on the attachment but no where can I find anything button to print it. All I can do is download it and
save it. Once I won’t this I can print it by other means but incontestably I shouldn’t have to save it if all I want to do is print it. The attachments are pdf. Please help as I have loads of attachments I need to print.
Also is there a way I can print off multiple attachments in multiple emails in one go without going into every email?
Hello. I’m currently in a very important process and I need documents that used to be attached to some of my emails. The emails are there, but the attachments are gone. I don’t absorb why this happened, and it’s from a identifiable period (like from early
2014 to early 2016). Older attachments, down to 2011, are still there. More recent ones as well.
The emails are still there! It’s just the attachments that have been deleted.

Ever since the new update when I receive an email with an attachment I am powerless to watch or download the attachment. It gives me the option to click on watch or download but the computer then loads to a blank screen, every
time regardless of the category of attachment.
The only way I can run around this is downloading the attachment to onedrive then opening and presentation it in onedrive, from there I can download it to my computer. However my onedrive is
nearly full and it would be less moment in time consuming and
easier if I could just download and watch the attachments successive from the email.
Does anyone have any advice? Thanks
Since hotmail users were forced to flinch using outlook a number of weeks ago, I have been incapable to think about attachments (.pdf, .mp3, pretty much everything). For .mp3’s you hit the play and nothing happens. For PDF’s, just a blank screen when trying to preview
or download it. I’ve attempted to access these attachments on chrome, firefox and ie. All have the same issue. I’ve also tried from inside and outside of my company firewall, same issue. Nowadays I downloaded the latest side of silverlight, cleared the cache,
